Raising Awareness for ALS Relays

Our Mission

As of right now, ALS has no cure. By raising awareness, we're hoping to be part of finding the the cure for this fatal disease.

ALL the money will go to EXTRA HANDS FOR for ALS. EXTRA HANDS is an organization that helps serve the families with ALS patients. High school students go into the homes with people suffering from ALS to help with everyday chores and to help make life a little easier.

What:

The Raising Awareness for ALS Relays, or RAFAR, is a fun relay event run and organized by current West Torrance High students to help raise money and awareness to fight against ALS.  Many different relay races are planned and everyone from tots to grandparents are welcome to compete in the events.
